Asian Markets: Asian markets followed Wall Street and overturned concerns over North Korea. Japan's Nikkei 225 rose 0. 55%. Kosspi is up by 0. 04% after technological shares rose. The biggest gains come from Samsung Electronics shares, which have a growth of 0.17%. Hang Seng climbed 0. 79% and Shanghai Composite shed 0.03%. Yesterday the shares in the region closed down, but today they managed to recover.

Currency market: The yen rose yesterday, but today it is trading with a decline against the USD at levels around 109,762 after the risk-off moods start to fade away. The dollar increased against most of its crosses, with its index rising to 92,319. The Australian dollar performed best during the Asian session after the better economic data from the country and is trading at levels around 0.79936. The euro managed to reach $ 1.20 but then dropped again and currently EUR / USD is traded at around $ 1.1971. Investors will expect data for ADP Nonfarm Employment Change  and GDP from the US.

Commodities Markets: Following North Korean missiles, investors turned to safe-haven instruments. This helped gold reach its highest price for the year and is currently traded at around $ 1,311.44 per ounce. Hurricane Harvey was responsible for closing about 20% of refineries in the US, which means that the production will fall with approximately 3.5 million barrels per day. This had a negative effect on the price of oil, and WTI crude traded down 0.3 percent to $ 46.31 a barrel. On the other hand, this has a positive effect on gasoline, which is 2.3% up and traded at around $ 1.82 per

gallon.

European Markets: Yesterday, the European stocks traded down after tensions from North Korea. It is expected today the European indices to follow the positivism of the Asian session and to open higher. CAC is expected to rise by 5 points, DAX by 20 points and UKX by 9 points.

US Stock Market: Stocks regained their footing to close higher on Tuesday as investors evaluated the tension between the U.S. and North Korea. The Dow Jones industrial average erased earlier losses to trade about 40 points higher, with United Technologies and Boeing contributing the most to the gains. The index fell as much as 134.82 points earlier in the session. The Nasdaq composite also erased losses to trade 0.34 percent higher after Apple hit a record high. The S&P 500 turned positive in afternoon trade, holding 0.1 percent higher, with industrials leading four sectors higher. Tensions between North Korea and the US have, in our view, reached levels unseen since 1994, when the Clinton administration considered air strikes on North Korea. The CBOE Volatility Index (VIX), widely considered the best gauge of fear in the market, briefly rose more than 20 percent.
