Since being tapped as the White House’s new economic adviser, Larry Kudlow has trumpeted the virtues of a strong U.S. currency and even offered a trading recommendation: “I would buy King Dollar and I would sell gold,” he said.
An investor taking that advice would have done quite well for themselves, on Thursday at least, with the Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index up 0.3 percent and gold slipping by 0.5 percent on the day.
