Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that investor confidence in the Greek economy is back.
"I believe that 2016 will be the year in which Greece will surprise the world economic community," Tsipras said in an interview with Bloomberg TV in Davos. "Although last year was difficult for Greece and Europe, I think we have great opportunities ahead of us."
Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund announced Wednesday the sale of 67 of the shares of Piraeus Port Authority to Cosco Pacific Ltd. for 386.5 million euros ($ 421 million), is expected to fetch 1.5 billion euros.
