Genesee & Wyoming (GWR) grew 8.5% after the news that Brookfield Infrastructure and GIC bought the rail company for $ 112 a share or $ 8.4 billion.
MU (JMU) grew by 4.2%, even after China's ecommerce food service company reported a decline of 58.9% in 2018.
Applied Materials (AMAT) shot 3.8% after the news that the company will acquire Kokusai Electric $ 2.2 billion, with AMAT's AMAT market share going to over 20%.
