Even as emerging-market currency volatility falls to the lowest level since October 2014, options traders are boosting their bets for future price swings. A JPMorgan Chase & Co. index that measures expected turbulence in exchange rates rose for seven days through Tuesday, the longest streak in 32 months. Investors are turning nervous about the outlook for developing-nation currencies after their rally in five out of the past six quarters raised concerns that they’ve become too expensive amid persistent political risks.
