Westpac had an earlier forecast that the RBA would cut interest rates twice this year, but now they have increased their number to three. Once it was right for RBNZ to take that move in May, they are now focusing on the RBA. According to them, the first (almost certain) decrease will be in June, the next in August and the third in November. They forecast that in November the interest rate would be 0.75%, while the AUD / USD rate would stay around 0.66 by the end of the year.
Their expectations are after lowering the interest rate to 0.75%, keeping it until 2020. They assume it is possible to start a QE program.
