The week after Christmas will start with data from Japan and a report on the monetary policy of the country. We do not expect a significant change in the latest Central Bank report. Expectations for 2018 through BoJ are a gradual decrease in QE or momentary retention. The country's interest rate will remain in the negative territory for a long time, but that it can't surprise the traders. Economic data by the end of the day will be poor. We will see CB consumer confidence in the US and with that the economic data is exhausted. However, on the day after Christmas do not expect big movements. The market will be thinner and probably by the end of the year.

In general, we can not expect serious movements. There are no serious economic data to drive the market or company reports. More serious volatility can occur on the cryptomarket. After the massive sell-offs of all the crypto decreases, now investors may want to buy "on cheap". We should not forget that it is also possible to reverse ... sales continue, because the trust in BTC and company is already lost. Today, the market capitalization of the crypto market fell from $670 billion to $430 billion at its lowest point.

It's official: Donald Trump signed the tax reform. Corporate rates are diminishing, and now we all expect to see what this means. According to some investors, this means raising salaries, for others the dividends. The most likely scenario is for companies to have far more free funds that will be used to redeem their shares. This, in turn, may eventually lead to an increase in stock prices and hence an increase in indices.
