Ripple - one of the most popular cryptocurrency for 2017 with an increase of over 30,000% last year. The question of everyone is asking: Where the price is heading and what is moving the price?
By its nature, Ripple will be used by banks as a means of transfers. On one hand, this is positive for the currency: higher demand = higher price.
On the other hand, however, banks will probably don't want it to become too expensive. If all institutional investors start massive buying of Ripple, the price will rise significantly. And the higher it becomes, the more unprofitable it will be for these same investors to buy it.
Rather, a golden environment will be sought, where both banks and consumers will be happy with the value of the currency.
