This week we saw a lot of statements by the heads of the central banks.

The euro also rose this week after Mario Draghi's speech. Investors accepted his comments as a signal for tightening monetary policy and ending quantitative easing. Currently EUR is traded at levels around 1.1416 against the dollar.

Shares in the financial sector were on the rise this week, all of them successfully undergoing a stress test. Janet Yellen's comments that the banking system is much stronger than they were before the financial crisis in 2008. also added to the positivism in the sector.

The oil was trading  with an increase this week, which ended a 5 weeks of losses in a row. This was due to the drop in production from the US, which dropped by 100 thousand barrels per day, the highest decline since July 2016.
