If Amazon.com Inc. wanted to jump into the financial sector next year, how would it do it? The online giant could buy a small or mid-size bank, according to CFRA bank analyst Ken Leon, who put such a move among his top predictions for 2018. "This may either be a tactical move or a broad strategic jump into
banking, as Amazon seeks more stickiness with consumers and small businesses in consumer lending such as auto loans, credit cards and home mortgages," he wrote in a note on Monday.
