"Last week, three companies I follow have presented their financial statements and noticed a slight disappointment to my expectations. It's Priceline (PCLN), Burlington Stores (BURL) and Broadcom (AVGO)." - Said Cramer.
I presented Priceline many times for the past six years because it is providing its customers with comprehensive information about their self made trip. The company provides access to cheap airline tickets, hotels, cruises, car rentals, good restaurants and many other things you should know before going somewhere. Many times we have heard that this model will be killed by Expedia, Tripadvisor or now even from Airbnb. Everything the company does is to expand its business and currently is doing very well with the competition.
Burlington Coat Factory one of the most controversial distributors of clothes. They have exceptional prices and exclusive discounts to its customers and clearly this is a very good model for doing business as the company reported much better than expected data for Q4 of 2016.
"In the end I do not know how positive I can be to Broadcom but once again the company's semiconductor and communications blew away expectations of financial strategists and presented much better data than expected." - Said Cramer
