Zero S - the perfect electric motorcycle

Electric motors are not a whole new business idea. Their usefulness, however, is unmatched. Firstly, these bikes use so little fuel compared to a car that the fuel consumption is unrealistic at all. But since 2000, demand for motorcycles has been declining gradually, down from 8% last year. However, households with at least one motorcycle have increased slightly.

For a traditional manufacturer of motorcycles like Harley-Davidson, spending $ 825 million on an electric motor will require a lot of imagination, technological thought and effort. The company, despite weak demand, has been able to develop its Project LiveWire electric bikes, which will be available for sale in August.

A new company, however, Zero Motorcycles, launched in 2006 by Neal Saiki, has become a true specialist in the development of electric motors. Zero produces sport-looking, reliable and environmentally friendly electric motorcycles. Their new model is Zero S. Released this year and worth $ 10,995.

The machine weighs 141 pounds and lightens to the maximum. The result: a top speed of 358 km / h - Zero's fastest bike. For a city bike, it's perfect for traffic avoidance and good enough to park it confidently to impress.

Its management is compared to the management of a stealth aircraft: no oils, no noise or vibration, no loss of control. Ideal especially if you have neighbors.

Electric motors compare them to Apple Watch. They do not need anyone, but once you get it, you get caught fast, even you become addicted. It turns into a vital part of your everyday life.

For competitors like Harley, the temporary failure to respond in time does not mean that they as an old and classic motorcycle maker do not prepare their answer.
