Oil prices fell on Thursday after reports that a meeting between oil producers to discuss global pact to freeze production is unlikely to be held in Russia on 20 March.
Sources familiar with the matter say that the meeting is likely to fail because Iran had not yet confirmed participation in such a deal.
"Iran did not agree to a meeting. Why ministers will meet again? Iran says they will not make changes." Said OPEC source from a major manufacturer. "Only if Iran agreed, things will change."
